Limehouse Gas Safety Certificates

For up to two gas appliances, Limehouse Gas Safe Certificates are priced at 90, and our PGS Gas Safe approved engineers can supply additional certificates at the price of 25 each. Any supplementary services required to issue the certificates will be priced separately.

Letting agents and landlords sometimes have trouble remembering when their Limehouse Gas Safety Certificates need updating, or when the yearly safety assessment of their property is due. To make your life easier, PGS provides a service whereby you are automatically contacted when these checks are due.

Landlords are expected to be able to produce valid Limehouse Gas Safety Certificates when asked to do so. If you do not have a valid certificate you could face penalties that range from the annulment of insurance policies to a criminal conviction if the tenant’s safety is put at risk.

Most rented properties with a gas supply will require Limehouse Gas Safety Certificates and this includes cases where the let rooms do not contain gas-fired heating or appliances. PGS can provide landlords and letting agents with expert advice on what accreditation is required based on their thorough knowledge of gas safety regulations.

A property will only be provided with the required Limehouse Gas Safety Certificates once your plumber has completed the requisite tests, and is satisfied that there are no outstanding issues. Once provided, a copy of the certificate should be passed on to your tenant within 28 days, and you should keep a copy yourself for at least two years.
