If you want to double check whether or not a particular rented room within a building needs Hadley Wood Gas Safety Certificates, PGS can help. Our Gas Safe approved engineers have a detailed understanding of gas safety rules, and will be able to tell you whether or not you need certification.

Landlords that do not have the required Hadley Wood Gas Safety Certificates in place can face significant punishment. For example, your building and contents insurance may be annulled and if your neglect causes a tenant to die of carbon monoxide poisoning, you could be prosecuted.

Your PGS Gas Safe qualified professional can provide Hadley Wood Gas Safety Certificates for up to two gas appliances for £75. If additional certificates are required these can be purchased for £20 each, and any necessary repairs undertaken in order to qualify for a certificate will be priced independently.

Hadley Wood Gas Safety Certificates will only be granted after our engineers are satisfied that the property has been examined, and is convinced there are no remaining safety concerns. The tenant should be given a copy of the certificate within 28 days, and the landlord should hold onto a copy for two years.

Under UK law, landlords are required to have a gas safety check fulfilled in all properties with a gas supply on an annual basis and by a Gas Safe registered technician. At PGS, our technicians are Gas Safe accredited, and can therefore complete these safety checks and award Hadley Wood Gas Safety Certificates.
