Headley Gas Safety Certificates
Gas Safe Registration has now superseded CORGI as the required qualification for any individual who wants to work with gas supplies and products in the UK. In order to be able to award Headley Gas Safety Certificates we make sure all of our technicians at PGS are Gas Safe registered.
If you want to double check whether or not a particular rented room within a building needs Headley Gas Safety Certificates, PGS can help. Our Gas Safe approved engineers have a detailed understanding of gas safety rules, and will be able to tell you whether or not you need certification.
At PGS, we charge £75 for Headley Gas Safety Certificates which cover up to two appliances, and £20 for each extra certificate you purchase from your Gas Safe endorsed technician. If any repairs or exchanges are called for before we can issue the certificates, these will be priced alongside the other costs.
Before Headley Gas Safety Certificates can be supplied, rental dwellings must first be examined successfully, and PGS can provide this service. Our engineers will seek out signs of leakage, improper operation, ineffective aeration, combustion output build-up or unsafe appliance pressure, and any other requirements to ensure the property meets the gas safety standard.
Under UK law, landlords are required to have a gas safety check fulfilled in all properties with a gas supply on an annual basis and by a Gas Safe registered technician. At PGS, our technicians are Gas Safe accredited, and can therefore complete these safety checks and award Headley Gas Safety Certificates.
