Surbiton Gas Safety Certificates

In cases where a rented room in a property does not itself have gas heating, but there is a gas boiler in the building, the landlord must still obtain the relevant Surbiton Gas Safety Certificates. If you are uncertain whether or not your building requires certification, PGS can provide guidance.

Surbiton Gas Safety Certificates will only be granted after our engineers are satisfied that the property has been examined, and is convinced there are no remaining safety concerns. The tenant should be given a copy of the certificate within 28 days, and the landlord should hold onto a copy for two years.
