N15 Gas Safety Certificates

For N15 Gas Safe Certificates which include up to two appliances, you will pay 90, and for any further certificates you will pay 25 for each one these are also available from your PGS Gas Safe endorsed technician. If maintenance or repairs are necessary in advance of awarding the certificates, you will pay for this work on a separate basis.

It should always be documented in the contract between you and a managing agent who is liable for organising N15 Gas Safety Certificates from a Gas Safe certified expert. However, even if the agent assumes this responsibility, the Health and Safety Executive still recommend that the landlord asks for duplicates of all gas safety records so that you can be sure of meeting your legal needs.

Landlords and letting agents who do not have the required N15 Gas Safety Certificates can face tough penalties. These will usually include the invalidation of your insurance and may even extend to criminal prosecution for manslaughter in carbon monoxide poisoning, or gas explosion, cases, as you are liable for the safety of your tenants.
