N21 Gas Safety Certificates

Knowing exactly when your property’s N21 Gas Safety Certificates need to be renewed, or when your next annual safety visit is due, can be stressful to manage. To make things a little easier for you and prevent any unintentional legal breaches, PGS offers a reminder service.

To obtain N21 Gas Safety Certificates, rented housing must first successfully make the grade during numerous appraisals, which can be performed by a PGS technician. These appraisals include an assessment of how the appliances are fitted, whether there are any leaks, how well ventilated gas equipment is and pressure levels during operation.

Although CORGI still exists as a membership organisation, the Gas Safe Register is now the professional register that any individual that works with gas must be on. All of PGS’s engineers are Gas Safe registered, and so are able to carry out the necessary checks for landlords and issue N21 Gas Safety Certificates.

The cost of N21 Gas Safety Certificates for up to two appliances is 90, and your PGS Gas Safe registered engineer can issue certificates for additional appliances for 25 each. Any repairs or replacements that need to be done before the certificates can be issued will be charged on top of this.
