Bellingham Gas Safety Certificates

When a PGS technician goes to a rented dwelling to undertake a gas safety inspection, certain repairs may need to be completed before Bellingham Gas Safety Certificates can be awarded. Typically, this can be done at the same time as the inspection, often reducing the price.

It can be difficult to recall exactly when your Bellingham Gas Safety Certificates are up for renewal, or when your next annual safety evaluation is called for, particularly if you have a large property portfolio. To help resolve this problem, and prevent inadvertent regulation infringements, PGS provides a safety check prompting service for landlords and agents.

To be awarded with Bellingham Gas Safety Certificates, dwellings must first pass an inspection by a certified technician. Once granted, copies of the certificates have to be provided to the tenant within 28 days and the landlord needs to, for at least two years, keep a copy too.

If you don’t know whether your properties need Bellingham Gas Safety Certificates, perhaps because only certain rooms are let, you should call PGS. Our engineers have a detailed knowledge of the gas safety rules and can therefore give you the information to determine whether or not you need a certificate.

To work with gas, and award Bellingham Gas Safety Certificates, to rental dwellings, engineers now have to be Gas Safe approved – as a result, CORGI is now just a membership organisation. All PGS plumbers are Gas Safe approved and able to serve all your gas-related requirements.
