South Cheam Gas Safety Certificates

CORGI is now only a membership organisation, and it is Gas Safe registered status that now signifies that an engineer has the qualifications needed to work with gas products and issue South Cheam Gas Safety Certificates. PGS are able to supply landlords with Gas Safe qualified professionals to carry out gas services and safety certification.

PGS Gas Safe certified experts can provide South Cheam Gas Safety Certificates for up to two electrical devices at a rate of 90, with supplementary certificates available for 25 each. However, any work that needs to be done before cerficates can be issued will be charged in addition to this.

Even if a room in a building is rented out without gas heating, but there is a gas boiler in the property, the landlord must be able to present a valid certificate. If you’re not sure whether your property requires South Cheam Gas Safety Certificates, then you can contact PGS for further advice.

Before South Cheam Gas Safety Certificates can be supplied, rental dwellings must first be examined successfully, and PGS can provide this service. Our engineers will seek out signs of leakage, improper operation, ineffective aeration, combustion output build-up or unsafe appliance pressure, and any other requirements to ensure the property meets the gas safety standard.

If, as a landlord or property manager, you are unable to supply official South Cheam Gas Safety Certificates upon request, you may be severely penalised. For example, it is not uncommon for insurance companies to withdraw their cover of uncertified rental accommodation and you could even face a prison sentence for manslaughter if there were to be a fatal accident caused by an unsafe gas supply or appliance.
