Queens Park Gas Safety Certificates

PGS Gas Safe certified experts can provide Queens Park Gas Safety Certificates for up to two electrical devices at a rate of 90, with supplementary certificates available for 25 each. However, any work that needs to be done before cerficates can be issued will be charged in addition to this.

PGS plumbers sometimes find that extra maintenance work needs to be carried out in advance of issuing the Queens Park Gas Safety Certificates for a rental dwelling. Anyone working with gas now has to be registered with Gas Safe, rather than CORGI. Landlords are expected to be able to produce valid Queens Park Gas Safety Certificates when asked to do so. If you do not have a valid certificate you could face penalties that range from the annulment of insurance policies to a criminal conviction if the tenant’s safety is put at risk.

Landlords that use an agent to manage their buildings should ensure that the management contract specifies who will organise for a Gas Safe qualified plumber to undertake the required safety checks and issue Queens Park Gas Safety Certificates. The Health and Safety Executive also recommend that landlords obtain copies of all gas-related documentation to ensure it is legitimate.
