West Acton Gas Safety Certificates

When one of our gas safety professionals completes a rented housing inspection, they will determine whether any repairs are needed before the West Acton Gas Safety Certificates are provided. Wherever possible, they will look to complete this work during the appointment, thereby saving you money.

UK law dictates that properties which are leased must be gas safety checked annually by a Gas Safe authorised technician. With PGS, our Gas Safe authorised plumbers can complete these inspections in addition to being able to award West Acton Gas Safety Certificates accordingly, to landlords.

Individuals who work with gas now have to be Gas Safe authorised, rather than registered with CORGI. Gas Safe authorisation is also required to undertake gas safety inspections and to provide West Acton Gas Safety Certificates for rented housing, and all PGS technicians are Gas Safe approved and can work with landlords and letting agents to certify properties as gas safe.

The cost of West Acton Gas Safety Certificates for up to two appliances is 90, and your PGS Gas Safe registered engineer can issue certificates for additional appliances for 25 each. Any repairs or replacements that need to be done before the certificates can be issued will be charged on top of this.

Contracts between landlords and rental agents must spell out whose job it is to organise for a Gas Safe qualified professional to inspect the property and award West Acton Gas Safety Certificates. It is also seen as best practice by the Health and Safety Executive that the landlord keeps copies of all certificates and repair documents for certainty of the accommodation being safe and legal for renting.
