Park Royal Gas Safety Certificates

Your PGS Gas Safe qualified professional can provide Park Royal Gas Safety Certificates for up to two gas appliances for 90. If additional certificates are required these can be purchased for 25 each, and any necessary repairs undertaken in order to qualify for a certificate will be priced independently.

Landlords cannot obtain Park Royal Gas Safety Certificates for their properties until specific safety tests are completed, and the results are of an acceptable standard to your plumber. The tenant should then be issued with a copy of the certificate within 28 days and the landlord should store a copy for two years.

As a landlord, not obtaining the necessary Park Royal Gas Safety Certificates for your properties is significantly risky. For example, insurance policies can be withdrawn immediately and, even more worryingly, because you are liable for the tenant’s safety with respect to the gas supply, if the tenant was harmed because of poorly maintained gas appliances, you could face prosecution and even prison.

To obtain Park Royal Gas Safety Certificates, rented housing must first successfully make the grade during numerous appraisals, which can be performed by a PGS technician. These appraisals include an assessment of how the appliances are fitted, whether there are any leaks, how well ventilated gas equipment is and pressure levels during operation.

In Great Britain, landlords must ensure that a gas safety test is completed by a Gas Safe qualified professional every year for all rental housing. PGS’s Gas Safe engineers are capable of completing these tests as well as issuing landlords with Park Royal Gas Safety Certificates.
