Holland Park Gas Safety Certificates

Rented accommodation will receive Holland Park Gas Safety Certificates as soon as vital tests have been passed in the opinion of an engineer. All landlords are required to supply a copy of the certificate to the property’s tenant within 28 days, and should store a copy themselves for two years at least.

For landlords and rental agents, remembering when your Holland Park Gas Safety Certificates need renewing and your annual checks must be carried out can be a headache. PGS can keep track of this on your behalf; we offer the landlords and agents that we work with an annual reminder service.

Individuals who work with gas now have to be Gas Safe authorised, rather than registered with CORGI. Gas Safe authorisation is also required to undertake gas safety inspections and to provide Holland Park Gas Safety Certificates for rented housing, and all PGS technicians are Gas Safe approved and can work with landlords and letting agents to certify properties as gas safe.

UK law requires that all rental properties must pass examinations by a professional plumber before Holland Park Gas Safety Certificates can be issued. PGS can provide this service and complete these examinations, which include checking for gas leaks, unsafe installations, a build-up of combustion outputs due to inadequate ventilation and abnormal operating or standing pressures.

For up to two gas appliances, Holland Park Gas Safe Certificates are priced at £90, and our PGS Gas Safe approved engineers can supply additional certificates at the price of £25 each. Any supplementary services required to issue the certificates will be priced separately.
