Nascot Wood Gas Safety Certificates

Landlords that use an agent to manage their buildings should ensure that the management contract specifies who will organise for a Gas Safe qualified plumber to undertake the required safety checks and issue Nascot Wood Gas Safety Certificates. The Health and Safety Executive also recommend that landlords obtain copies of all gas-related documentation to ensure it is legitimate.

When a PGS technician goes to a rented dwelling to undertake a gas safety inspection, certain repairs may need to be completed before Nascot Wood Gas Safety Certificates can be awarded. Typically, this can be done at the same time as the inspection, often reducing the price.

To obtain the necessary Nascot Wood Gas Safety Certificates the property must be evaluated by a qualified technician. A certificate will only be supplied once the technician is happy the property’s gas system is completely safe, at which point the tenant should be provided a copy of the certificate within 28 days, and the landlord should retain a copy for two years.

Individuals who work with gas now have to be Gas Safe authorised, rather than registered with CORGI. Gas Safe authorisation is also required to undertake gas safety inspections and to provide Nascot Wood Gas Safety Certificates for rented housing, and all PGS technicians are Gas Safe approved and can work with landlords and letting agents to certify properties as gas safe.

Before Nascot Wood Gas Safety Certificates can be supplied, rental dwellings must first be examined successfully, and PGS can provide this service.
