E16 Gas Safety Certificates
For up to two gas appliances, E16 Gas Safe Certificates are priced at £75, and our PGS Gas Safe approved engineers can supply additional certificates at the price of £20 each. Any supplementary services required to issue the certificates will be priced separately.
To work with gas, and award E16 Gas Safety Certificates, to rental dwellings, engineers now have to be Gas Safe approved – as a result, CORGI is now just a membership organisation. All PGS plumbers are Gas Safe approved and able to serve all your gas-related requirements.
When one of our engineers visits a rental property in order to carry out a gas safety check, it might be necessary to repair or service an appliance before E16 Gas Safety Certificates can be issued. This can usually be carried out during the same visit, at a reduced cost.
Landlords that use an agent to manage their buildings should ensure that the management contract specifies who will organise for a Gas Safe qualified plumber to undertake the required safety checks and issue E16 Gas Safety Certificates. The Health and Safety Executive also recommend that landlords obtain copies of all gas-related documentation to ensure it is legitimate.
Landlords must make sure their properties with a gas supply are assessed by a Gas Safe plumber once every 12 months, to meet their legal responsibilities. PGS can supply a Gas Safe registered plumber to complete the required assessments and provide E16 Gas Safety Certificates to landlords and rental agents.
